Job Description 

We are looking for an enthusiastic data generalist, who is happy to gain a holistic understanding of all aspects of machine learning and text processing pipelines. This especially means integrating and deploying the code you write, but it also means thinking in terms of how new algorithms, datasets or visualizations could unlock value for us and our end users.  

One week you might be back–testing a new signal you generated with the latest transformer model, another week you might be setting up data for an annotation task and expanding it with semi-supervised learning. Of course, another week you might be writing YAML files and shell scripts to deploy an API from our build system.

Desired experience and skills:

• Prior working experience as frontend developer or within similar roles
• Relevant degree in computer science, engineering or other degrees with equivalent experience
• Experience deploying Java-script, HTML, CSS and Javascript in a production environment
• Experience with visualizing analytics data to present customers with crisp answers to financial business problems and to augment their workflows with latest insights
• Experience with D3.js, Highcharts and Angular
• Skilled in Git and continuous integration
• Expertise with developing the frontend together with customers
• Automated frontend testing
• Good analytical skills, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, the ability to dig deep into a chosen framework to find issues
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

• Ein bis zwei Jahre Startup/ VC Erfahrung
